Strickland Services Group, LLC ("we," "us," or "our") operates the Motrix Cloud platform and the website at motrix.io (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your information when you visit our website or use our Service.

By using our Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

1. Information We Collect

Information You Provide Directly

  • Waitlist/Early Access Requests: When you submit the early access form, we collect your email address.
  • Account Information: If granted beta access, we collect your name, email address, organization name, and job title to create your account.
  • Fleet Data: Data you enter into the platform, including vehicle information, maintenance records, inspection reports, driver information, fuel records, work orders, and related documents.
  • Communications: If you contact us via email or other channels, we retain the content of those communications.

Information Collected Automatically

  • Log Data: Your browser type, IP address, pages visited, time and date of visit, and time spent on pages.
  • Device Information: Device type, operating system, and screen resolution.
  • Cookies: We use essential cookies to maintain session state. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies. See Section 6 for details.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Process and manage your early access request
  • Provide, maintain, and improve the Motrix Cloud platform
  • Send you service-related communications (account setup, updates, maintenance notices)
  • Respond to your inquiries and provide customer support
  • Monitor and analyze usage patterns to improve user experience
  • Detect, prevent, and address technical issues or security threats
  • Comply with legal obligations

We will never sell your personal information to third parties. We will never use your fleet data for any purpose other than providing the Service to you.

3. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We may share your information only in the following circumstances:

  • Service Providers: With trusted third-party vendors who assist us in operating the Service (e.g., hosting providers, email delivery services), bound by confidentiality agreements.
  • Legal Requirements: If required by law, subpoena, court order, or governmental regulation.
  • Safety: To protect the rights, property, or safety of Strickland Services Group, our users, or the public.
  • Business Transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, with notice to affected users.

4. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored on servers located in the United States. We implement commercially reasonable security measures to protect your information, including:

  • HTTPS/TLS encryption for all data in transit
  • Encrypted database connections
  • Role-based access controls within the application
  • Regular security updates and patching

While we strive to protect your information, no method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

5. Data Retention

  • Waitlist Data: We retain your email address until you are granted access, you request removal, or 24 months from submission, whichever comes first.
  • Account Data: Retained for the duration of your account plus 90 days after account closure.
  • Fleet Data: Retained for the duration of your account. Upon account closure, fleet data is deleted within 90 days unless a longer retention period is required by law or requested by you.
  • Log Data: Retained for up to 12 months for security and analytics purposes.

6. Cookies

We use only essential cookies required for the Service to function:

  • Session Cookies: To maintain your login session and preferences. These expire when you close your browser or after a set inactivity period.
  • Security Cookies: To prevent cross-site request forgery (CSRF) and protect your account.

We do not use advertising cookies, social media tracking pixels, or third-party analytics cookies. You can configure your browser to refuse cookies, but this may affect your ability to use the Service.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal information:
